Narayanganj: Road Transport and Stress Minister Obaidul Quader said, the court has issued a warrant against the BNP chairperson Begum Zia, not the warrant issued by the government.
The minister said that BNP's BNP activists protested against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia in protest of the BNP's party activists and BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam.
Replying to a question asked by journalists at Meghna tollplaza at Sonargaon in Narayanganj on Tuesday noon, he said.
Obaidul Quader said, the warrant for the arrest warrant against Khaleda Zia and BNP leaders, is this government arrest warrant? Not the court? BNP does not have any place to keep the BNP happy when the court orders or verdict goes against the government. Again, when an order, a verdict goes against them, the protest protests against the court verdict means that they disobey the court verdict.
When the verdict of the Sixteenth Amendment came against the government, the BNP said there was no end to happiness, and when the opposition goes against them, it is called a political conspiracy. The court gave the verdict on the Sixth Amendment, issued a warrant for warrants against Khaleda Zia. There is no political conspiracy here.
Regarding the traffic congestion, the Road Transport Minister said, the transport of additional goods is causing traffic congestion. They are destroying the roads. To protect the highways, the extension of the Excel Load Act will be implemented in the next one month, he said.
