Dhaka: BNP's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, "You are in power, the High Commission is under the control of the government. If Tarique Rahman submitted the passport, then show it to everyone. Where did not you?

Rizvi said this at a press briefing at the party's central office in the capital on Monday morning.

During the visit to London, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam has been laughing with BNP acting chairman to please the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, BNP senior joint secretary general said, "The legal action will be taken for the details of Tarique Rahman's submission of the passport."

The BNP leader also said that they submit their passports in the Bangladesh High Commission abroad, who accept foreign citizenship of foreigners who marry foreigners. He also alleged that BNP and Zia family are being lied against.

Rizvi also said, "Awami League talks about liberation war, but they themselves are destroying the consciousness of the war of liberation. They have destroyed the main spirit of liberation war democracy.

At the press conference, BNP chairperson's adviser council member Ataur Rahman Dhali, Abul Khair Bhuiyan, journalist Shawkat Mahmud, associate secretary Abdus Salam Azad, assistant secretary Belal Ahmed and others were present at the press conference.
