Dhaka: The pass rate decreased in SSC and equivalent exams. But why the pass rate has decreased, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid explained about this.

He said this year the government had taken several different initiatives to prevent counterfeit movements. 23 subjects have been tested in creative question method. And the answer sheets were evaluated in the uniform assessment system on all the education boards. We think that the pass rate has reduced a bit due to these.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has handed over the results of SSC and equivalent examinations to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10pm on Sunday. At this time, the minister explained these reasons for decreasing pass rate.

This year, the pass rate of 77.77 percent, which is 2.8 percent less than last year. The average pass rate of 10 education boards was 80.35 percent in the year 2017. However, five more 868 more GPA-5 than last time.

SSC and equivalent examinations started on 1st February. The practical test ended on March 8th. This year, in the SSC exam, one question pose leakage arise across the country.

In the inter-ministerial committee's report, scrutinizing the question papers, it has been said that 12 out of 17 subjects in SSC exams have leaked the question papers of the M.C.C.
