Khaleda Zia at Chittagong Circuit House

Chittagong: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has reached Chittagong on a four-day tour to see the condition of the Rohingya who fled because of ethnic cleansing of Myanmar.

Khaleda reached the Chittagong Circuit House at 10:50 pm on Saturdays in the face of obstruction of Awami League leaders and activists.

Khaleda Zia is welcomed by the BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Vice Chairman Abdullah Al Noman, BNP leader Mir Mohammad. Nasir and local BNP and organizational leaders.

Special Assistant Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas, who is with Khaleda Zia, said that the attack on journalists and BNP activists is condemnable - which is not to be expressed in words. Khaleda Zia has demanded exemplary punishment for those involved.

Shimul Biswas also said that he had inquired about the victims of the attack on Khaleda Zia's instructions .

Earlier, the BNP chief left from 'Firoza' at Gulshan's house at 10:45 am.

BNP Chairperson Fazlul Huq, Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu are the leaders.

Khaleda Zia will visit Ukhiaar Baluchali, Boalmara and Jamtali Rohingya camps of Cox's Bazar next Monday.
