Tangail: Traffic on the Dhaka-Tangail highway has created traffic congestion in the area of ​​about 28 kilometers from Chandra to Dholla of Jamurkiy union of Mirzapur upazila. General travelers are facing extreme hardship.

According to the local sources, the development of the four-lanes of Dhaka-Tangail highway was underway. Khana and dhanara were created at different places of the highway. Besides, people are going to the workplace after the three-day holiday.

On the highway, traffic movement increased on Friday. After 10pm, the traffic congestion was created at different places of the highway, but the traffic movement stopped completely after 4pm. In this, long traffic congestion was created on both sides of the highway from Chandra to Tangail Bypass.

As a result, passengers and laborers were forced to suffer after being trapped in traffic. Women and children traveled are in more trouble.

 
There are traffic congestions in the area of ​​about 28 kilometers till Chandrata to Mirzapur's Dhalaya till 9.00 am on Saturday.

A resident of Kantolia village in Mirzapur said, the Dhaka office went to the bus from Mirzapur Bus Stand at 8am.


Traffic inspector working in Mirzapur bypass area Selim Hossain said, the traffic congestion was created due to excessive pressure on the road. Police are working to resolve traffic congestion.
